Leila Zadeh was born into an Iranian Zoroastrian in Buffalo, New York. She is something of a wild child who and is known for her spontaneity and inability to stay home for long, much to the chagrin of her ex-Navy mother. However, due to her being the oldest of three daughters, her parents tempered this side by encouraging her to channel this into extracarricular activities. However, with Leila being the personification of “go big or go home,” she filled her plate up as much as possible to the point that people were surprised that she had any free time of her own. First it was karate, then it was cross country and weight lifting, and finally the rock climbing and the outdoors clubs, the later of which she became the president of. After graduation, she joined the Marine Corps where she served for four years with a notable close call, before finally moving on and attending GEU. Her wild child personality has carried over into her academic career, with her being noted for being a social butterfly that spends a lot of time in the forest, be it hiking, fishing, or hunting. She is seen as a very kind, loyal, and dependable friend that will give you the shirt off of her back if you need it. She is also openly bisexual and has a voracious sexual appetite, but her closeness with Ya-Wen often confuses people into believing that they are an item. Finally, due to the relative warmth compared to her home city, she also tends to show more skin to stay cool. She gets her fair share of looks for this, but she doesn’t mind.
