Description

Since being summoned to the modern world, Ametria has admittedly had a hard time adapting. All her life, she had known a world similar to medieval Europe, one that had stalled technologically for over a two thousand years. After all, who needed to invent a printing press when the city’s archmage could cast a spell and perfectly clone a book? So, when she got thrust into a our high tech, low magic world, she felt a little lost. Fortunately, she found something to help her out. Or, perhaps it would be accurate to say someone to help her out. She had a chance encounter with Leon Azarola. They had an immediate connection, one that she could not explain. He seemed to know what she was thinking, and vice versa. When ambushed by muggers, they acted in perfect harmony, playing off of each other as if they had been comrades in arms for years. They exchanged contact information. Coaxing personal information out of the secretive Leon was not easy, but he was able to provide insights into our world that Coyote couldn’t. Slowly, she was able to get him to open up to her. He was born in Colombia, served in the French Foreign Legion, but ultimately rejected French citizenship in favor of wandering the world. He was comfortable -in fact, quite skilled- with firearms, but he preferred to fight unarmed while leaning on his innate magical talents. He is still something of an enigma, but she did receive one revelation: they were of the same kind. One of his parents was a succubus, but he won’t reveal which one. This explained his appearance and almost animalistic magnetism, as she was well aware of the little known fact that succubi and incubi were the same creatures and were able to switch between genders at will. She has never met a male alu before and she still has a lot to learn from, but she is content to hang out with him and “hang out” with him. I decided to include a little mini comic showing their personal dynamic.
