DRK_Bedroom 001
Description
My first attempt to create a normal looking bedroom using the new location and really just to see what can and cant be done with the textures....Ive kinda gone for an LA mansion type look, not that Ive ever been in one! :) PLEASE NOTE Ive not touched the spa area as I was only interested in the bedroom and adjacent lounge, so any changes seen in the spa are just an affect of modding the bedroom textures Will upload a walkthrough movie shortly UPDATE 22/02/12 - PLEASE READ There seems to be a glitch with the new location where if you make any of the room textures transparent, when you angle the camera so the model is infront of a transparent texture, her hair becomes transparent too (I've found it noticeable if using the hairstyle you can see on my model in some of my texture uploads). In my room mod, you may have noticed the same problem occur over the larger carpet in the lounge area. If you are experiencing this, a quick fix to the problem is as follows:- 1. Open up the downloaded DRK_Bedroom 001 zip folder. 2. Copy the Room_Oriental_carpet01 TXF file and paste onto your desktop. 3. Right click the file pasted onto desktop and open with notepad. 4. Delete "RGBA_8888" "AlphaBlend/AlphaMask/WriteZ" and replace with "RGB_888" "Opaque". 5. Save TXF file and close then copy and paste this file back into the DRK_Bedroom 001 zip folder, overwriting the other TXF file. 6. Re-activate the room texture in game and issue will be fixed. Make sure you do this before loading the room in game or you won't notice any changes. Apologies if you do have this problem, it's only since using the room that I've noticed it happen.
