The novel takes place in 1927 when Solange is 21 years old and the only child left of a rich Parisian family. She is described as an intelligent and seductive person, yet very humble, modest and on the other hand spineless, introverted and cold-hearted because she can't cry and almost never shows feelings. Although she seems to have potential for many things, she doesn't really have a hobby. She falls in love with a man named Pierre Costals, who is an author and a heartthrob and playboy. Although he falls in love with her two, most likely for the first time in his life, he still breaks up with her in the end of the book and falls back into his old habit. Now I created Solange with an erotic interpretation of how she continues - meanwhile it's 1930 and she is 24 years old. It took her 3 years to get over him and she was taken to a large estate which serves as her retreat. Now with 24 years and after a long mental health cure she grew to a more self confident woman - she still lives in the secluded mansion which used to be her private "asylum". Like her former lover Costals she becomes a successful writer with which she earns her money. She lives her crazy introverted recluse life in this manor and is very happy with that - the only difference is her new hobby: to take revenge on Pierre Costals while she becomes more and more like him without knowing it. She started to take erotic pictures which got completely out of control until she even recorded porn movies in her secluded house - just to regularly adress all that, including private letters, to Pierre Costals to annoy him.
