PAINE - YIN

We all have a darker side... Naoko is no exception. Naoko is very well known for her innocence and bright side personality. One would wonder why she would even be at a school like SOHK. The answer is because of whats inside her... literally. A physical manifestation of her Yin that refers to herself as Paine. Naoko is a girl of two sides, while most of us have Yin and Yang balanced between ourselves which ultimately equal a whole version of us. Naoko's is not as simple as she is the physical manifestation of both given the circumstance. Naoko's is split in two entities within her.. one sweet, innocent, caring, loving and optimistic, named 'Naoko' is her Yang, which you see most of the time as her normal personality. The other is brooding, destructive, and has an uncontrollable desire to cause as much pain as possible and is aroused by battle and causing pain to an enemy or anyone , named 'Paine' is her Yin. Which only comes out when Naoko is in grave danger or enraged beyond her Yang's limitations of control. Paine sees herself as Naoko's inner guardian from her own "stupidity" as Paine calls it, the one that can cross boundaries Naoko can't, burn bridges she won't, say the things she refuses, and smash windows she'd wash. She also sees herself as the stronger of the two sides... hence the inner conflict, although at times Paine will force herself to take over almost seemlessly, while other times remaining content to let Naoko try to be passive until passiveness no longer works. But Paine is impatient..so she shall only wait for so long to "save" herself if need be. Both are still manifestations of the girl herself's actual personality if she was lucky enough to have been given balance. So she adopted the name Naoko Paine, as a meaning of both sides since both Naoko and Paine equal her. But are constantly at battle within one another for full control of her actions.... Which side wins you shall have to stick around to find out. One
