Description
This is Zahiya from Aden in P.D.R. of Yemen. Her father was a radical freedom fighter in the NLF and fought the british for independence but was killed in the civil war against FLOSY. He dreamed about a new secular and modern Yemen. Zahiya admired him very much... She became a brilliant student, a conscious ASHEED member and enthusiastic womens right fighter... When the new Family Law was to be introduced in 1974 she joined the General Union of Yemeni Women to help her sisters all around the country... She fell in love with comrade Ali, a charming party member who believed in Yemens women but it turned out that he had far more in common with females than she ever could imagine or wished for...?
