For those whom wonder why Lambent (whom had locked herself away in maximum security prison) is now in GE City or even out in general. This is the video that shows why.

Contrary to popular belief that she 'escaped' she was actually released.. by the ever manipulative, and devious Lin (one of my favorite characters I've not shown much of), whom never gives her even the courtesy of revealing her name. But will recruit her back into the world Lambent no longer wants a part of..under 'one' condition and for the one reason she feels Lambent can't resist.

Here you get the verbal.. and mental back and forth from between Lambent's brilliance and perceptiveness against Lin's manipulation and brilliance of her own. I won't spoil anything. For those that have seen it, thank you by the way, again for all the support back then. For those that have NOT seen it... fasten in.

P.S. there's sound..even in silence(which is intentional). Enjoy!

P.P.S. Yes... I will re-do this scene with voice acting and lip sync one day soon. Yes Lambent's voice actress will return..and Lin shall be portrayed by...well that is gonna be my secret Enjoy! ^_^

The first panel is very nicely done and really shows the brooding going on in Kara's head. Kara really should have jut gone to the other end of the couch and did to Lin what Lin is doing to Mali....Lin could not argue with a full mouth! Just want Kara to get her share...she may have to be more aggressive @Hobbes !

@Hobbes a couple of 'motion blur' lines above Kara's fist in panel 2 would've made that gesture pop, and told a huge story by itself (I'm assuming she slammed her fist down on the bar like 'YES!'). I'm not sure if that's feasible or not, just a suggestion. Great work though!

well, i am a bit with the end. not how was played out but it came too sudden for my taste.
sallah and the bandits have seemed more like a side story and than it was the main plot, when kamirie´s important and mysterious mission was only some patrol duty.
i have expected a few more adventures before the happy end.

@dragonfyre ya this happened as a result of her and Lin having that spat. As far as her passing out. I've seen it work both ways. Afterwards sometimes Mali is wrecked I'm I'm just laying there going welp looks I'm uploading pages tonight. Other times I'm dead and she's up cleaning the gutters. Women are cool.
