Osa and the Magic War part 10: The Fall of Pride pt 3

The warriors battle the Orangemen in a defensive formation, taking down Ornagemen one by one, until there are only 11 Orangemen facing off against the nine dark warriors from the southern continent. As the warriors begin to feel like they are going to win this fight very soon, the twenty Orangeman that had been dosed with the dizziness and blindness pollens recover and join their brothers. This puts a barrier between the warrior and the four sorcerers, cutting each other off from sight and any potential help.

He rushes at her and she turns in to a monkey and jumps and leaps all over the place, as he chases her and becomes fatigued and causes the poison to rush threw his body, causing him to eventually to fall over, paralyzed. Ekina returns to her normal form, the uses her magic to suck the air from his lungs that, combined with the paralysis, causes him to suffocate to death. She then uses her magic and blows the pain pollen to wards the fifty Orangemen surrounding Adunbi's outnumbered nine warriors, twenty of them fall to the ground, incapacitated from nerve wracking pain.

A Redman charges at Osa, who shifts her Zentai into spiked armor. When he slams into her, he bowls her over and takes several more steps past her. He looks to see the spikes on Osa's Zentai had barely scratched him as he comes to a stop. The Redman turns just in time to see Osa getting to her feet, facing him. Confident that he can beat her, the Redman grins and puts his hands together, cracking his knuckles, when wall of fire erupts around him, obstructing his view and the heat begins to burn at his flesh. Quickly, he attempts to escape the heat by leaping threw the fire, only to land on an icy patch of floor, he stumbles and slides forward, before gaining his footing as his bumps into something. He feels her retract the spikes, and a coldness washes over him as he collapses to the ground and darkness fills his vision.
Osa looks up from the body of the Redman she just beat, and sees that the warriors from her village are not doing well. She begins casting a spell when she sees the Yellowmen step aside for Prince Rindell, dressed in noble battle armor similar to the one John took from the noble's castle, but the prince's has magical ruins inscribed on it. Osa also remembers that the armor John is wearing is lightly magical without having any arcane runes.

Prince Rindell opens the door from his sanctuary, dressed in the battle armor that his grand father mad for his father, and that his father had further enchanted. The Yellowmen step aside, to allow the prince to steps into the cavern. He glances around the room to survey the fight until his eyes lock onto Osa's, looking back at him. Prince Rindell shouts, “You treacherous cushi minx! This is your doing! I'll put and end to you this very minute!” Rindell draws his sword from it sheath, and then like a small child throwing a tantrum, stomps his feat as he walks towards Osa.
Osa begins to laugh as she watches him approach, causing the prince to stop just out of striking range and shout at her, “I'm about to strike you dead and you dare laugh in my face! What is so funny?”
Osa looks at him and composes herself, “Every thing about you. Your stance, the way you march, the way you hold your weapon. You are like a child pretending to me a warrior, but knows nothing about fighting. You have never carried that weapon or warn that armor a single day. You couldn't fight you way out of a fishing net if your life depended on it.”
Prince Rindell is so enraged all he can say is, “Why... you...” and then raises his arm up high and back pauses as if to think about what to do next then swings as hard as he can, Osa takes a small step back, and the prince's strike misses by a pace, causing him to spin slightly and lose his balance. Osa follows threw with causing water to form and freeze on the ground below the prince and a quick burst of flame erupts from her hand near his face. Already off balance, this surprise causes the prince to fall over and land on his back, his head bounces off the cavern floor, causing him to black out.

When Rindell awakes, and gets back to his feet, using his sword and a lever to aid him, he looks around and sees Amy, a green man, a giant black bear, and Osa are all fighting the Orangemen. The prince yells at the top of his lungs, “DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK TO ME AS IF I AM SOME NOBODY! I AM THE PRINCE AND I WILL BE KING SOME...”
Osa turns around to look at the prince just in time to see him fall to the ground again, revealing the old seer standing behind the prince, his staff raised as if he just used it as a weapon. Behind the seer Osa sees Noni, John, Quivina, and Vulkarias enter the cavern. Quivina starts firing ice arrows at the Reddman that is fighting Adunbi, while John and Vulkarias run up to either side of Osa and join in the fight against the Orangemen.
It does not take long for the last Redman and all the Orangemen to fall dead or dying. The moment the last Orangeman drops, all the Yellowmen throw down their shields and surrender. Inside the inner chamber, they find princess Keela eating dinner and one servant waiting on her. The prince and princess are taken into custody and placed in the palace prison cells.

Osa and the Magic War part 10: The Fall of Pride pt 2

Amy's and Osa's forces meet at the base of the palace gate just in time to see two men falling out the windows, screaming until the hit the ground and die. Looking up, they see Ekina poke her head out and wave to them be fore she disappears back inside. A moment later the gate begins to open and before them stands Adunbi and nine of his men fighting nearly two dozen palace guards. Three of Adunbi's warriors and almost a dozen guards lay dead on the ground. Amy and Osa command their forces, nearly four hundred men and women, to seize the court yard.
In less than a minute the battle is over, and Amy and Osa are stand next to Adunbi. Amy excitedly says, “We are doing great, we'll have this place under our control in no time.”
Adunbi is a bit winded from having to fight such over whelming numbers for so long, “We do seem to be doing better than expected.”
Osa is a bit more confused, “We haven't encountered a single Orangeman since we got here. I know there was a sizable number when I was here last, they were the ones who kept the servants or slaves or what ever in line. They can't have all just disappeared.”
Adunbi says, “Then they must be waiting in an ambush some place inside.”
Amy says, “Or maybe the Price has them with him and they are running out some secret back door, since you broke his scrying pool he can't magic his way out.”
Joining them Ekina says, “If that's the case then they probably set traps to make it difficult to follow them, but the front halls are clear. Most likely to allow the guards to move about freely.”
Osa says, “In either case we need to continue with caution. I don't trust these people. They are very arrogant and manipulative.”
Amy and Osa tell their lieutenants to take their troops to sweep the building room by room, floor by floor, when possible take prisoners out to the courtyard. Adunbi orders his remaining men to follow him, both his sisters, and Amy as Osa lead the way in search of Prince Rindell.

It doesn't take long before Quivina's and Vulkarias' forces have secured the city wall and gates, and then join John's forces in taking control of the city. Several minutes after Adunbi, Osa, Ekina, and Amy have entered the palace, John, Vulkarias, and Quivina are enter in the court yard and receive a brief update on what happened with the four scorers from the lieutenant that was left in charge of the courtyard. When an old man with long gray hair and beard, in white robes, holing a walking stick walks threw the palace gate. Quivina informs John and Vulkarias that she help Osa in a fight against this old man, and that he is some sort of mystic. John and Vulkarias move to flank the seer while Quivina prepares her bow and takes aim.
The old seer stops and plaints his staff on the ground in front of himself then says, “It's not to late to stop this chaos. If the dark sorceress kills the prince, even worse will be loosed on the world. The one that will follow if he is slain will be dark and merciless. We must not allow the prince to die.”
Vulkarias asks, “What are you saying old man? Why should we believe you?”
The old mans tells them, “I am a seer of things past, present, and possible futures. I have seen dark and dismal times if the prince should die this day. It is not too late to save the world, but we must not allow the dark sorceress to slay the prince.”
John says, “We don't know where they are at, they have been in the palace for some time, and none of us have ever been in there. We can't help you, even if we wanted too.”
The old seer says, “They can guide you, they know the way. I have seen it in my visions.” He points to the palace door as several guards are leading servants out. John, Quivian, and Vulkarias all look to see the five robed females with milky skin and snow white hair, being escorted to a holding area in the courtyard. The seer begins walking towards them, flanked by John and Vulkarias and followed by Quivina.
The seer indicates two of the five and says, “These two know the way.”
John asks, “What are your names and what is your duty here?”
One of the girls speaks, “I am Noni and this is Shara. We are bathing attendants for special guests.”
John tells them, “We need for one of you to guide us threw the palace. Our friend Osa is in there and we need to find her quickly.”
Noni says, “We know Osa. She was kind to us. But I don't know where she may be.”
John says, “She is looking for the prince. If you know where he is at, maybe we can meet her on the way there.”
Shara says, “The prince does not like Osa. And she is powerful. They may try to harm each other.”
The old seer says, “That is why we need you to take us to them so we can save them both.”
Noni agrees, “I will take you to where the prince has hidden himself along with his special guard of Orangemen.”

Adunbi, Osa, Ekina, and Amy along with nine of Adunbi's warriors make there way threw the back halls of the palace. Not having seen a palace guard in several minutes, just servants hiding or trying to flee to safety. Each using their magic sense to find some way to where the prince is hiding. They find themselves headed down into the under parts of the palace, past an underground well, past the wine seller, past stores of bread grain and dried foods, past the cells and cages of the prisoner dungeons, past an abandoned sorcerer's lair with a library and alchemical equipment, through the vaults that store an uncountable sum of gold and silver coins, and down a long and twisting path into an underground cavern.
They follow a hand carved path for several minutes before they see the light of flickering torches from an opening up a head. They sneak up to the edge of the opening and pear threw. What they see is around a hundred Orangemen and four Redmen, with a dozen of Yellowmen serving them. On the far end of the chamber the see a closed wooden door with the emblem of the royal family mounted over top it.
After they all have backed off a comfortable distance Adunbi says, “It will take hours for us to dig through this hard stone to get past this chamber. It will be quicker to fight our way through these monsters. We will lose the element of surprise, if that is a chamber. However, if it is an exit then we lose time by digging. I would rather fight through. Does anybody have another idea?”
Amy says, “What if we can put a bunch of them to sleep, and maybe blind a bunch more?”
Ekina agrees, “Yes, with the pollens and my air magic we can handicap them before we attack...”
Osa cuts in, “...and they won't even know its us.”
Adunbi continues, “Good. After you do that I'll take my men in and get the attention of those that are not effected. Give us a good long count to a hundred, then join us. You three will be a surprise second wave.”
Ekina and Amy out their pollen bags together, Ekina send the sleep pollen out first, the twenty closest to the opening get groggy and lay down to fall to sleep. The next pollen they use is blindness, causing twenty more Orangemen near the opening to the cavern to lose their sight and start to scream in panic.
Using that disturbance as their key, Adunbi and his men rush into the cavern, stabbing the sleeping and blind Orangemen in the throat as they pass. Forty down in just a few seconds, sixty more to go. As the orange men attempt to surround Adunbi and his warriors, Amy and Ekina use the dizziness pollen on another twenty Orangemen and the pain pollen on twenty more, removing them from the fight for short time. Adunbi and his warriors face twenty Orangemen and four Redmen. All the Yellowmen form a shield wall in front of the door.

Osa and the Magic War part 10: The Fall of Pride pt 1

Having swam under the wall, Quivina and her archers take the ramparts of the city wall, and provide cover and support to Vulkarias and his men. Vulkarias leads the group taking the main gate while 2 smaller groups split off to take the two smaller gates.
Outside, the other groups are also getting into place, Amy with her tree, the beast man, and 200 troops arrive at local gate, and wait for it to open. At the same time Osa and 200 troops arrive at merchants gate, while John and 600 soldiers are in front of the main gate. Finally, Adunbi and his men are being carried in by Ekina in her dragon form, landing on the highest part of the palace.

After dropping off her brother and his warriors, Ekina returns to her normal form. As she and Adunbi are speaking about how to enter, two people step out from a door on one of the towers, a very large almost naked northern man with thick brown body hair, and a small attractive eastern woman in a red and gold silk robe, and black hair so long that it nearly touches the floor. She speaks with a heavy accent, “Welcome, but your journey ends here. Turn back now or suffer your fate.”
The large man then transforms into an even larger bear, and begins charging across the roof, while the small woman starts waving her hands in front of her and hypnotic lights start to flicker and flow out in font of Adunbi and his men, captivating them.
Ekina pulls out the pack of sleep pollen that Amy gave her and summons a magic breath to carry it across to the eastern woman who has charmed her brother and his warriors. The eastern woman collapses into sleep, just as the bear plows into Adunbi and five of his men, tossing them up into the air and off the top of the palace roof. The rest of the warriors on the roof preform a warriors dance to draw the attention of the bear to themselves and form a defensive line.
From behind the man-bear Ekina transforms into and Elephant and gores him with her tusks, then she flips him up into the air. When he lands, he reverts back to his human form, and the warriors run up and stab him with their spears until they kill him.
Ekina returns to her natural form and looks over the edge to check on her brother and the men that were tossed over the edge, she sees them in the palace court yard fourteen meters below her, Adunbi and two of his men are moving slowly to stand up, protected from the worst injuries by there stone skin amulets, the other three are either dead or unconscious, but they are also being surrounded by dozens of place soldiers. Ekina turns around, and gives orders to bind and gage the eastern sorceress, and then follow her down the stairs.

At the local gate, Amy and her forces are waiting, then the gate open up, a single person steps threw and shuts the door. An otherwise ordinary looking northern man, in a black cloak, raises his hands and says, “Drop your weapons and surrender.”
In Unison, Amy and all the soldiers with her, drop their weapons and put their hands on top of their heads. The man then approaches Amy, still sitting in her tree and says, “Come down and kneel in front of me.”
Amy seems to struggle with the command at first but climbs down and kneels in front of him. The man then pulls out a long dagger and raises it over his head, then a black figure leaps from the tree tackling the man and disrupting his concentration.
When Amy realizes what is going one she sees the beast man clawing and ripping at the man who had taken control of her mind and the minds of her men. Quickly the beast man has turned this mind sorcerer into a bloody mess. Amy rallies her men and order them to move inside. Amy then calms the beast man and gets him inside with her. Passing threw the door, she discovers all the sailor who were sent to capture the door had killed themselves, most likely at the command of the mind sorcerer. Amy guesses that since the beast man is so feral that he has some resistance to mind magic.

At the merchants gate the soldiers report to Osa that they hear combat on the other side of the wooden doors. Osa rides to the front of the formation, and listens. She hears the clanging of a lot of swords, more than what should have been on the other side. This gate had reinforcements, when it should have only had a half dozen guards. Osa steps back and yells to her men to move back. She summons the power of fire, and hurls a torrent of flame at the double doors. When she lets up, the doors are blazing, but before they burn threw a cauldron of water is poured over the wall to douse the fire. Surprised, she thinks to herself, 'How did they know to put extra guards on this gate, and to bring a cauldron of water?'
Osa shouts to her troops, “Stand by to take the gate on my signal.” She then transforms her gold double Zentai to form in to massive dragon wings and flies up to the top of the wall where she meets an old man with long gray hair and beard, in white robes, holing a walking stick. As they look at each other, she realizes that he is a sorcerer or some type.
The old sorcerer speaks, “Call off this battle, return to your home, Osa of the southern continent. I shall not let you pass.”
Osa asks, “How do you know my name? And how did you know to bring water for the gate?”
The old sorcerer tells her, “I am a seer of things past and of thing yet to come.”
Osa says, “You can not stop me seer. I will find the prince and end his villainous ravaging of the all the worlds peoples and their lands.”
The old seer says, “I have seen the futures, and you can not kill him. He has his faults, and they may be many, but if he is to fall on this day there are those who would rule that are fare more corrupt than he is.”
Osa says to him, “Let me pass and I will ensure that a better persons lead this land. Persons who will not make war on the rest of the world.”
The old man takes a defensive stance holding his staff and says, “I can not do that. Turn and leave or meet your fate.”
Osa fires a bolt of fire from one hand while summoning a bolt of ice with the other, her fire bolt is blocked by the old seers staff, before the ice bold strikes the old seer blocks that as well. Then the old seer spins and sweeps at Osa's feet with his staff, catching her ankles and flipping her on to her back. From the other side of the wall, Quivina launches an arrow at the old seer, but he blocks it with his staff. However, that gave Osa enough time to get back to her feet. Osa uses her Zentai to launch three tentacles from both of her arms. The old seer rapidly swats and slaps away at each one as it tries to entangle him, stepping back to make room for him to maneuver. While the old seer is defending against Osa's tentacles, Osa causes a wall of fire to spring up behind him to stop his retreat, and then a sheet of ice to appear under him to limit his maneuverability further. Unable to maintain his balance, and fearful of catching on fire the old seer loses focus and drops his guard, causing himself to get caught by Osa's golden Zentai tentacles. Once she has him bound, she deposits him on the roof of a nearby building, then makes her way into the gate house with a shield of fire floating in front of her, she forces the guards out the other side, uses her Zentai to power open the gate and let her forces in to reinforce the sailors inside. As men climb up to secure the gate, Osa hops down and then leads the way to the gate of the palace.

Adunbi and two of his warriors are slow to get to their feet, three others are not moving, after having been tossed of the top of the castle to the ground four levels below. Slowly realizing they are surrounded by over two dozen palace guard, they form a triangle, standing back to back, they hold their defender spears in front of themselves and release them, the spears hover in the air and attempt to deflect in coming attacks. They hold their shields in front of themselves to block anything that gets past their short defender spears, and their stone skin amulets make their skin as hard as stone, reducing any damage that they may receive. Then, as the palace guard poke at them with swords and long spears, one at a time, they each are able grab a long spear and take it from the man welding it. Once they are three properly armed they are able to rotate and shift an inch hear and an inch there until they are able to get to their fallen allies and add those defender spears to their defensive circle.

As Quivina her archers take control of the wall, Quivina sees Osa in trouble on the wall and fires an ice arrow at the man Osa is fighting. He is able to block her shot with his staff, but it gives Osa time to recover. Quivina then continues to lead her archers in the taking control of the wall and supporting John's forces on the ground fighting for control of the city, and Vulkarias' forces attempting to breach the palace wall.

Ekina leads the bulk of Adunbi's warriors threw the castle, in counters only a hand full of guards that were not deployed outside to defend the palace gate and the surrounding city. In just a couple quick moments Ekina and her forces are at the main entrance to the palace. They are able over power the two guards there, and remove the plank to unlatch the door before pouring out into the palace courtyard and assault the forces surrounding Adunbi and the two men with him. While Adunbi and his men engage the palace guard in the courtyard, Ekina transforms into a chicken and flies up to the palace wall, where the guards and archers ignore her. Ekina then trans forms into a Tiger and begins attaching the guards and archer a top the wall, slashing them and tossing them off the wall to their death. Upon reaching the gate tower, she finds the doors sealed. Ekina transforms into a rat and squeezes in threw a small opening under the door. Again the guards pay no attention to such a small and harmless creature, until its too late.

Osa and the Magic War part 9: The Calm Before the Storm

While John is getting their people organized and ready to march out from the castle, on the top of the castle Adunbi, Quivina, and Amy are with Osa and Ekian to wish them a safe voyage.
Adunbi gives them each a stone skin amulet and a kiss on their forehead, “I'll see you at the royal palace.”
Osa says, “If the plan works out, we should be there around the same time as you.”
Quivina hugs them both and kisses them on the cheek, “Be safe, my sisters.”
Ekina replies, “Be safe, also, sister.”
Ami gives Ekina a dose of each of her pollens (sleep, dizziness, blindness, numbness, hot, cold, pain), and Osa a dose of each of her Saps (Joy, Lust, Fear, Rage), then kisses each of them on the lips, “Don't make me have to come look for you, because I will be very upset if you don't make it.”
Osa looks tells Amy, “We have so much more to teach each other. I look forward to all the time we will spend together.”
Osa and Ekina climb on the back of the dragon, and hold tight as it launches them into the air. Adunbi, Quivina, and Amy watch Osa and Ekina fly off before heading down to the main court yard where they meet up with John and Becka.
While Adunbi and Quivina mount up on there horses, they are joined by John on his horse and Amy in her tree. John says, “I know the way so I'll lead the way with my medium infantry, Then Quivina and her archers in case we need support on the road, then Adunbi and his light infantry, and finally following last. She also knows the way so if anything happens she can keep people on track. Becka and camp followers will follow us in one day. The wounded will accompany Becka and as guards for the supply train.”
John rides to the front of the main body of warriors, gives the command to get ready, and then to start marching. As soon as the last of Johns men is moving, Quivina gives the archers the command to start moving, followed by Adunbi and his men, and Amy in her tree with the beast man resting high up near the top. Becka and the camp followers collect as much water, food, and coins as they can carry on their wagons.
The road is a long three days travel on foot, four day for the wagon train following, but it takes them threw several small towns and villages where they are able to purchase food and water, and equipment, as well as recruiting a few more people to replace some men who fell at the castle. Each little town they pass threw they kill a dozen Orangemen and one Redman.
When they get near to the designated meeting place, a three hour march from the city that surrounds Prince Rindeel's palace, John and Adunbi scout ahead, only to find Captain Vulkarias is already there along with his crew and several hundred sailors and soldiers that he recruited along the way. As they are having a friendly reunion, Quivina comes around the bend leading their troops. The order is give to set camp, eat, drink, and rest.
Once the command tent is set up and all the leaders are inside, Vulkarias asks, “Where is Osa and Ekina? I had expected them to be travailing with the druid in her walking tree.”
John says, “They took the dragon and flew to the southern part of the content, to the encampment where the giant commands the Orangeman army. Three days to get there, and three and a half to get back.”
Vulkarias says to himself, “So, they won't make it back in time for the start.”
Adunbi replies, “If Osa's plan works out, she and Ekina should be here sometime tonight.”
Everybody looks at Adunbi. Vulkarias asks, “How is that possible?” and John says, “Yes, Explain.”
Adunbi reveals the plan that he and his sisters came up with after she made it clear she was going to seek revenge and the try to use the magic pool to trans-locate from way down there to up here, “Based on her witnessing of the conversation between the prince and the giant. And that she woke up in the palace less than a day after having passed out in the giants tent. She guessed that the pools are not only a means of communication but also transportation. They are going to use their magics to activate the pool down there and appear here, in the castle somewhere, and then make there way to us. But she will have to free the dragon from his service.”
Vulkarias says, “Well, I for one, will be happy not wondering when that dragon will turn to eat me or my men. I hope this plan of yours works out, because we are going to need all the magic we can get. My scouts have counted thousands of fighters in there, both men and Orangemen. We are going to be out numbered at least seven to one, if not more.”
Adunbi says, “I trust my sisters, they will be here.” Quivina and Amy also put there trust in Osa and Ekian.
John says, “Very well. We will be down one dragon, but we will have four sorcerers and nearly a thousand people in our army.”
Then night goes on, the men and women warriors eat, drink, and revel in their past victories as they prepare to rest. While John, Vulkarias, Quivina, Amy, and Adunbi discuss entry points and the floor plan of the palace when the air around Amy starts to whirl around her, at first gently then picking up more and more speed and moisture. Amy begins to try to use magic to protect herself, but Adunbi tells her, “Stop. Water is Osa's domain, this is of her doing, let it flow around you.” Then, from the sky, a cyclone of water splashed down on Amy, drenching her, and depositing Osa and Ekina with it. The ground of the command tent is a muddy mess and a few of the papers are lightly splashed, but no significant harm is done.
After some quick greetings, Osa and Ekina report what happened on their mission. Then Osa explains how they made it back to the camp, “We stood in the magic pool and while I was activating the trans-location ability Ekina tossed the flower in to the vortex to redirect it, since the slower had a direct connection to Amy, it set us here. Since there was no pool on this end, the contents of the pool must have come with us to act as a receiver.”
Ekina continues, “In theory, the pool is now unusable for communications or trans-location, until it is filled up again. Leaving the prince with no way to call for help or escaping. At least not using that device.”
Osa says, “I see you were looking at the city and palace plans. I was in there and a flew over it. There is a small stream around back, that feeds into the river that flows under the wall. If the men are not afraid of getting wet, we can send in a small force under the wall. They can take the city gates and let in the main fighting force. There are three gates, the main gate is huge, Wide enough for two carts and a good number of people on foot. There are two smaller gates, the merchants gate is wide enough for one cart and a few people, the locals gate, just enough for a couple people to walk threw and tall enough for a horse and rider. Besides the stream, that's the only way in, except by air,” Osa looks at Ekina, “And there are trees all over the city, even a couple medium size ones in the palace court yard,” Osa looks at Amy.
Vulkarias says, “Me and my men can go in threw the river and take the three outer gates.”
Ekina says, “I can take dragon form, and deliver Adunbi and his men to the palace roof top.”
Amy says, “I can animate the trees and command them to attack, but I'll need a leaf from each tree.”
Ekina says, “I'll have my eagle collect those for you.”
Quivina says, “I'll send my archers in with Vulkarias' men, and we will take the walls. There should be a way into the palace from the top of the walls. If there is we'll find it and go for that palace gate.”
John says, “Amy you will take command of twenty percent of my forces and lead them at the locals gate, Osa will do the same at the merchants gate. I'll take the main part and go to the main gate. We will all converge at the palace gate. Vulkarias and Quivina get your men and go. I want those gates open by midnight. Let's move out.”
Vulkarias and Quivina quickly gather and lead their sailors and archers towards the river.. Adunbi, Amy, and Ekina start working on making a cargo basket large enough to hold the men that won't fit on the back of Ekina's dragon form.
John and Osa go over the maps in more detail so he has a better idea of navigating within the city and she is ready to give orders to a group of soldiers.
