Suggestion: UI scaling option.
Thinking of returning to use the Quadro 2000 again just becuase it unlocks more games to play, as it is DX11 vs the powerhog GTX 285 i use now, which only is a DX10.
What that would mean, Sexvillawise, is that i need to run it in 1280x800 if i want it to run smoothly. But, with that change comes that the UI almost block half the screen while i am in the Sequencer.

Any chance of a CockEdit nowdays? I've asked for it before, a looong time ago, but i thought i could ask now again.
Functioning sort of like ToyEdit, but for the male member instead. I'd love to give my boys some extra care.

Yea, that could work, and probably even a better way and lets you pick between several strapons you have created as well on the fly. An cruical thing that must be included in this, is that it use the same kind of bendings, size and girth controls in PoseEdit that it allows while animating. Also, that it can use Normalmaps and the other new gfx gizmos, plus, using same sweat levels as rest of the body too.

@PussInBoobs I thought i should remind you of this function that need some trixxxing to it after the update.
Ok, so, the new FX options that was added, i like them, fuck yea.
The issue i am reminding you of is the Light @ Extras in the Sexbrowser, as it does not function with the new Light-tab for the new options. When the new Light is enabled, it cancel everything else of the LightExtra i have put down on the Seqtimeline.
Anything else, like SSAO, bloom and all else does still work, thankfully, it's not dependant on the Light being Enabled.
The major plusside of the new Lightsystem is that we can move "lamps" and see where they are and place them wherever the fuck we want. It's sort of a dream finally come true with this. I'm so worn of the old ways of spinning the lights, forever to try get the optimum angle of it.
I have no big problem to fix the colours and strength on light with the old way, it's just the positioning of the light.
It bug the shit out of me that i can use and see where the lights are with the new stuff, but i can't save positioning of it whenever i want a new angle of the camera and still get a good light on faces and whatever that needs to have nice light.
I wish you can do somthing about this.

yes i changed the sliders from their 10% steps to full precision and extended their range to 200%. the GfxCustomizer supports even up to 400% bright lights.

What about improving the sequence tagging? I mean, if I go to Gamerotica, I can find (more or less) easily the kind of Sequence I want to see.... But, later, once it is downloaded in my pc, things get a bit harder. All the tags are gone (So, don't know what are the sex requirements of the sequence characters, for instance). Many sequences have no title, but "Sequence X", what makes difficult to remember what it was about when u have 30+ sequences to handle... So, my question is... does ThriXXX have a solution for this? Any upgrade to let us Tag the sequences, once downloaded?
A solution, while it comes true, may be an additional information in the sequence title (that which would be displayed in the Sequencer): something like "The lady and the Tramp (M, F, SM)" so, any one would know what are the sex for the Mate, 2nd and 3rd character in the sequence.
What do u think, people? Is this a too weird request??
#V2Updates #sv2update Since the 2.5 update there is one problem i've noticed.
It's a bright one. Seriously. There is some kind of layer of light that are all over their bodies, reflexing annoyingly, and, it also covers all clothing as well. The color of clothing are also much brighter than before 2.5 White for example look horrbly bright. Cant turn down the brightness slider in customizer either, because then it turns grey.
This layer of light covering everything has been my biggest issue with this update.
I better mention you @PussInBoobs since you're the gfx guy.

There quite a lot of things that could be that "layer of light" you mean.
Maybe I should explain the difference between a DirectX8-age renderer and a Physical renderer first, but... I'll try to give a short answer first.
Things that could be annoying you:
a) bloom -- just toggle it on/off and see if anything gets better.
a bright object like the sun can easily create a halo over the complete screen.
b) environment (image based specular lighting / IBL) map - just toggle it on/off and see if anything gets better.
especially map05 adds a full white layer, map01 simulates a blue sky backlight, etc...
c) the "Physical" BRDF itself - "bi directional reflectance model" which especially simulates that "backlit" objects get some kind of outline/halo.
at the moment this can result in some annoyingly glowing elements around here nosetrils and under her boobs, which will get much better when shadows are added.
d) the tonemap - this is some ugly hack by the film-industry to squeeze bright colors in the limited "0-255" range a standard 8-bit video signal supports, which is unfortunately also shifting colors depending on their brightness.

maybe you can post a screenshot what exactly you mean. things will improve and there is always the legacy+ renderer if the new look doesn't suit your taste

Going back to Legacy, are you nuts? lol I love the new stuff you've done despite some flaws here and there, and my pc has no problem running the new fx.
A) Need to check that, but i am 99% sure it's not cause.
B) I have disabled IBL, as i prefer running it without so far.

C) Aye, i've noticed that a lot since HD2.5 and it is an annoyance and could possibly be the thing that is doing this layer i talked about, and it's not just around noses and boobs.. We'll notice when you have finished working on the shadows.
D) I use the defaultly chosen Tonemap, as i think it looks the best.
As you say, it would be great if we could squeeze out all the ugly and buggy things before you are done with this. -

Here's a video i just made where i spin the light on the clothing and some extra on the skin.
I have no memory of any clothing reacting to lights like that before SV2.5.
I did a test just prior to the video in a sequence and turned off that light that was making it, and it stopped glowing like that. But when start spinning the lights that are still active, the reflectiv "layer" is still present no matter what.

ok, just watched the movie. well that's the indended behaviour for the NVidia FaceWorks light model, but I agree it's sometimes too much. I'll check if I can add some 'scale factor' to tone that down somehow.

So this is it then, to never be able to load up Hook? I was so satisfied and excited with SV2 just a couple of days ago and never thought this problem would ever come up. Everything was just, perfect! I had 2 stories in sequencer i just started to build that i looked forward to finishing. Now, i do not.
All the sequences i've done is now completely outdated visually. They do not look anything like they did with this update.
There's potential in the 2.5, but it is faaar off right now, and when or if it catches up to Hook with its great customizations, i do not know.
Until then i do not know what the fuck i am going to do. I really feel like i lost something precious. And it was.

never say never. Hook was created to fill a need. I suspect the next version will also be good. Hang in there

I have not given up, just massively disappointed my losing a visual style that this new gfx update don't do, yet. I think the imagequality is excellent, and the effects too. There's certainly a transitional period to adapt to new things. Still, my whip is out and i will not rest until there are way better configurations for all the effects and beneath the hood alterations that can be made. Hook-style. @PussInBoobs already hate me!

we didn't specifically do anything to prevent hook from functioning -- which means - its just some bug in hook that should be an easy fix for the author.

He won't listen to me, @PussInBoobs and he's too busy with Hook5 to care if i asked him for a fix for something that's 2 generations old. Let's forget about Hook3 for a moment. Making another comment below..

@PussInBoobs There's 1 thing in particular i am after that Hook has that i'd love to see added over here: Focusing of the lights. I mentioned it in the SV25HD announcement somewhere (i think) and it is called "fresnelReflectance" and "beckmannReflectance" in the Hook_Shaders.fx file.
If you look at some of the pics i just uploaded you see at them cocks that the reflecting light stretches from root to tip.
I'd liek control of the size of this. -
@PussInBoobs The technique i used this for in Hook3 was to make the cocks look wet, like bodily fluid. It is a pretty convincing effect i found by a fluke. And i am addicted to it! If you want me draw something to better explain how i mean, or show you pics of how it looks like with Hook, i'll help you with that.

fresnel is the white glow around objects when they are lit from behind. that's already been added to SexVilla...
currently most effects are toned down because .. well.. those who like the old style cried louder -
there are a few things that must be tweaked to get the effect at its fullest -- currently sexvilla is using tiny lights at an infinite distance. we'd have to change that to use a few local lights or one larger light for a better effect.
to get something really gloss you have to make a mod containing a _metal.png an set it to Luminace=0% and Alpha=70-90% - that wouldbe fully glossy stuff.

Ah Interesting! Well, looks like i am mistaken with what the fresnel is. I don't know what it is now, but when i changed it in the config file the lights got more focused and smaller.
I uploaded 2 more shots. Same scene with identical light and colors in both pictures, except one is with Hook3 and the other are SV25, though, sadly that picture was taken before i had my normalmaps.

At 0:45 and forward you how the light are on her body. The small area each light "dot" are. Originally they looked like SV2 standard until i changed it, very large and smeared over a large area, unfocused and getting worse when more swaet is activated. Its like.. like a layer of light untop. Gosh , i have such a hard time explaining... -
THere, right at the start of the video with the standard GFX, you see how the light reacts to the sweat. It becomes so dull, unfocused and large... lightblobs. lol

@PussInBoobs Looking at that picture you linked and other ones i've searched for using "Beckmann reflection", it sure looks like that is the one i am after.
But, how does this work? How can i change the _detail mask? Or was this for the _metal? I do not think i understand the how-to about this. I nee to see a file of how it looks. Im fucking stupd. -

thats a nice idea - i have some body editing features in mind but it could be a nice solution to make an editable toy (somewhat similar to a strapon) that replaces the default genitals.
